Fur Rugs

This product is one of the most appreciated and sophisticated goods among all Peruvian handicrafts. The softness of the alpaca fur makes it a very attractive item with growing sales levels especially in the USA and New Zealand and also in Canada, Holland, Great Britain and Germany. The rugs are available in baby and adult alpaca fur in different sizes from 45x65 cm. to 170x200 cm. There is a great variety of designs of geometrical shapes and animal figures; suggestions on new patterns are always welcome!

Produced in baby and adult alpaca fur, and available in various modern designs as well as in plain colors as white, beige, brown and black, mainly in sizes of 40x40 cm and 50x50 cm. Capes

It is a fine product with a classic and elegant cut, available in natural or dyed plain colors. The edge of the fabric is finished in crochet, and accesories like scarves and hoods can be incorporated. The material used in this product is 100% alpaca thread. We also use alpacacryl which is a combination of 50% alpaca and 50% acrylic fiber, which gives us a better price and high quality. .

Our ceramic windchimes are produced in high temperature ovens resulting in a wonderful combination of hardness and an excellent sound. We have a large range of designs such as leaves, flowers, fruits, animals, bells and stars, all of them in different sizes and prices.... enjoy the harmonic sound of our windchimes!

Chulucanas ceramics
.
The origin of this ceramics comes from the Vicus culture (500 A.D.), inherited by the Vicus and Tallanes potters who in times of the phenomena of el Niño current had to emigrate to the slopes of the Vicus hill, where the Chulucanas village is situated. (in the northern part of Peru). The potters´ families recovered the techniques to create the traditional and contemporaneous ceramics through their games with the mud. At present, not only new folk techniques have been developed but also the “negative” technique has become famous with amazing sales in the USA and several European countries. We have a great variety of elegant designs available!

Ayacucho ceramics
.
In Quinua, a village located at 40 km. from Ayacucho, the ceramics is the main activity in the village. The different kinds of red and cream clay provide these pieces of earthernware a special quality, that in spite of their simple and almost childish forms have a great expressive power. The small churches , chapels, houses and the Quinua bull are very famous. In the same way characters as the peasants, the gossiping women and the many representations of religious themes have become popular. The purest and most traditional Peruvian handicraft!.

Based on the ancient folk customs of the people living in the Peruvian mountains, different musical instruments have been made with natural materials like the stems of reed and bamboo, pumkins, seeds, leather and so on. Among our most important wind instruments are: antaras, zampoñas, pan flutes, quenas, flutes, tarkas and ocarinas. Percussion instruments: maracas, chaccas, damasas, drums and rainsticks. Through the years we have developed an amazing variety of new models giving special attention to the appearance as well as to the high quality of the sound, important facts for amateurs as well as for professionals. Framed Butterflies & Insects

The impressive colors and exotic natural art of the Peruvian jungle butterflies are shown in each one of our pictures. We have a large variety of dissected species which can be appreciated in small frames from 12x14 cm to larger ones up to 63x89 cm, as well as an interesting collection of insects that you have probably never seen! The large capacity of our workshop helps us to preserve an excellent standard of high quality, totally approved by the most demanding bug collectors. This is an excellent product for decoration.
